Ways to Post Better and More Efficiently
Learn Your Style
One of the first things you need to do is just go out and create some posts about topics you are interested in or topics related to your business. This allows you to get a feel your writing style, your audience, and the type of content you want to write about.
Templates and Repetition
Don’t make unnecessary work for yourself! Once you create a post you like with a good format save it and reuse it! This saves you time and keeps your organized when making future posts. Also, get in the habit of doing the same tasks in the same order. For example, make a title, brainstorm what the main content will be, split it into sections, finalize the post and publish it.
Always add a picture or even a video if possible. Videos and pictures receive much more interaction than just text posts, and they look much more appealing. There are many sites to get free pictures I currently use Unsplash and I found a great article from Entrepreneur that lists 14 total free stock photo websites.
You want to make a creative and eye-catching title. This is what your audience will see and use to determine if it is worth their time to read. I use a free headline analyzer on CoSchedule this helps me determine the strengths and weaknesses for a title I have. Use call to action titles, for example I originally titled this “How to Make Social Media Posting Easier” and changed it to “Try These Strategies to Make Your Social Media Posts Better”. Simply changing some words gives your audience the idea this post can be helpful to them instead of them thinking it’s a long learning article.
Thinking of Content
Don’t wait until you’re making a post to think of ideas, think of them all the time and then write them down. Think about your audience and followers and what content they like and use that to think about topics you should post about.
Using these strategies will help you post better content and do it much more efficiently!
